Brasilian Committee for Phase Diagrams of Materials

Created with the support of ABM- Brasilian Society for Metallurgy, Materials and Mining in 1998, the Brasilian Committee for Phase Diagrams of Materials has the following objectives:

-       To be the focal point for discussions related to work related to phase diagrams of materials.

-       To promote coordination of critical evaluations, experimental work and similar phase diagram work to avoid waste of resources and to encourage collaboration between institutions interested in the use and development of phase diagrams of materials.

-       To promote the interchange of ideas, information and knowledge in the area of phase diagram of materials, promoting the collaboration between institutions

-       To interact with the Alloy Phase Diagram International Commission (APDIC), representing it in Brasil and to Interact with other national phase diagram organizations represented in APDIC, with the aim of reaching the objectives listed above.
